 skeleton shortage group skeleton shortage Inspired by such flannel-clad Pacific Northwest rock giants as Nirvana, Pearl Jam,Soundgarden and Alice in chains, the four members of Skeleton Shortage have been guzzling beers, breaking strings, and honing their songwriting chops in dingy rehearsal spaces in their hometown of Tampere, Finland for a couple of years now. The debut release of the band, ”The Highlake Sessions” EP (2017) introduced the band’s sweet-and-sour style to the world, and the new single ”The Guillotine” - accompanied by a sweat-drenched music video - continues in the same vein, displaying the foursome’s talent for combining muscular guitar riffs with psychedelic flourishes and soaring melodies.
